Looking for photo booth software you only pay for when you actually print photos? Fotillo does not work on a subscription. You buy an activation code for a specific number of prints and use it with no time limit – until the last photo is printed. The software itself is free to download; you pay for the licence only.

Fotillo works with Citizen CY-02 and DNP DS-RX1HS dye-sublimation printers over a two-way connection – the software knows the paper status and how many prints are left. Setting it up takes 10–15 minutes and requires no IT specialist.

A single shot, collages, photo strips – you pick the layout that fits the event. Guests see a live preview, while you set the countdown times and the number of prints.
Your own templates and frames
All templates sit in the Collage folder. Replace the Frame.png file and you have artwork for a specific wedding, birthday or corporate event – no programming knowledge needed.

How to download the current version (Token 1536)
You download the software yourself from the builder.fotillo.com configurator. There you assemble a package for your device: you choose the features, the theme and the languages, and we prepare the file for download. You always get the newest version – even if you have been using the software for years.
The set of features is stored in a token. This offer covers Token 1536, that is the camera + printer configuration. This matters: an activation code only works with a package downloaded under the same token.
1. Choose your device – the “Event photo booth” tile (Camera, print, sharing).
2. Customise the features – leave only two selected: Camera / EOS camera and Printer (Citizen / DNP).
Deselect the rest, including “Photo sharing (e-mail / QR)” and “Print a photo from your phone (QR)”. The price bar must show Token: 1536.
3. Choose the look (theme) – for example “Classic”, or a theme for the occasion: wedding, birthday, New Year’s Eve.
4. Languages in the package – pick the default language and any additional ones (13 available).
5. Summary and download – tick the required consents and enter your e-mail. You will receive a link to the ZIP package, valid for 24 hours.
Unpack the package and run the FotilloStart file. The software starts in DEMO mode – your hardware identification number is shown on the first screen. If the software is already running on your machine, you will find the same number after pressing F2 and then the “RECHARGE” button.

Where do I download the software and will I get the newest version?
You download it from the builder.fotillo.com configurator. You assemble a package for your device: choose the features, the theme and the languages, enter your e-mail and receive a link valid for 24 hours. You always get the newest version of the software. For this offer, in the “Customise the features” step leave only Camera and Printer selected – the price bar must show Token: 1536.
How many prints does the activation code in this offer include?
The code unlocks 1400 prints – the same number a set of printer paper produces. If you buy that set from us, the software is free and comes with a licence for the same 1400 prints.
Does the demo version have full functionality?
No. The demo version does not send photos by e-mail, does not generate QR codes, does not handle payments and does not display adverts while printing. Prints are also covered with a DEMO overlay. You can still check the interface, the templates and the printer connection – everything you need to judge whether the software fits your photo booth.
How long is the licence valid?
Until you use up all the prints. There are no time limits and no subscription – you can spend the licence in a month or spread it over two years. Your print counter does not disappear after a year.
What if I change my computer?
The licence is tied to the hardware identification number. Moving the software to a new computer requires contacting us – we will tell you what to do so that the remaining prints are available on the new machine.
Which printers are supported?
The software works with Citizen printers (CY and CY-02 series) and DNP printers (DS-RX1 and DS-RX1HS series) over a two-way connection. Support for other models is on the roadmap – if you have a different printer, it is worth asking about the current status.
Can I personalise the templates?
Yes. The software lets you edit templates and add your own graphics, text and layouts. Every template has a Frame.png file that is placed over the photo and you can change it freely. The manual shows how to do it step by step, without any programming knowledge.
