Genuine DNP media, why third-party rolls are not an option
The DS-RX1HS runs exclusively on genuine DNP media. Every roll carries an RFID chip that blocks third-party materials. This is not an arbitrary restriction. The thermal head in a dye-sublimation printer is a precision component calibrated for a specific paper and ribbon. Media that does not meet the specification not only produces a worse print, it can also shorten head life to a few thousand prints instead of tens of thousands.

Contact usThe standard DNP manufacturer’s warranty is 24 months. ViewPro extends the warranty for the main printer unit to 36 months, provided that the device is used correctly and original DNP consumables purchased from ViewPro are used.
The extended warranty does not cover the thermal print head beyond the manufacturer’s limits: 40,000 prints in 10 × 15 cm format or 32,000 matte prints.
