DNP QW410, a portable dye-sublimation printer for event photography
Most event and wedding photographers print where there is a power socket and a table. The DNP QW410 changes that logic. It weighs 5.8 kg, fits inside a camera bag and prints just as well outdoors as in the studio. You connect a tablet over USB and charge it directly from the printer, with no extra cables or power supplies cluttering the table.
The QW410 prints nine formats from a single roll, including a 4.5×8" panorama in 16:9 aspect ratio, designed for outdoor and event photography. One paper box gives 300 prints in 4×6" format or 220 panoramic prints. Print time is 19 seconds.

Genuine DNP media
The QW410 runs exclusively on genuine DNP media. Each paper roll carries an RFID chip that the printer reads before every print. This is not an artificial restriction, it is a guarantee of repeatable quality: every roll comes from the same production process and delivers a predictable colour result, print after print.

Frequently asked questions before purchase
Is the QW410 suitable for a fixed photo station, for example in a shopping mall?
The QW410 is optimised for mobility and occasional outdoor use. For continuous work in a fixed location (mall, drugstore, photo kiosk) the DS-RX1HS or DS620 will serve better, because they have higher roll capacity and are built for heavy duty cycles. The QW410 is the right choice wherever the ability to take the printer with you matters most.
Which formats are available from a single roll and do I need to change media for every format?
The QW410 uses two paper widths: the 4-inch roll (formats up to 4×6", including 4×4" squares and 2×4" strips) and the 4.5-inch roll (formats up to 4.5×8", including the 16:9 panorama, 4.5×4.5" squares and 2×4.5" strips). Each roll covers a fixed set of formats. Switching between the two paper widths means switching the roll. If you plan to print several formats during the same event, it is worth keeping both rolls on hand.
How does the QW410 connect to a tablet or laptop?
The printer connects via USB 2.0. Its USB port handles communication with the device and charges a connected tablet at the same time. You do not need a separate power adapter for the tablet during work.
What software works with the QW410?
