A photo studio, a school photographer with a class portrait and poster season, a sports photographer with on-site printing after the match. They all share the same problem: a 6-inch printer is not enough when the client expects a print in a format that truly makes an impression. The DNP DS820 is built for that demand. It prints up to 8×12" and A4, and the output quality on Pure Premium Digital paper matches what a demanding client expects.
DS820 is an 8-inch printer with resolution up to 600 dpi in high-quality mode. It supports ten formats, from 8×4" through panoramic prints to A4 sheets. Two media types, Standard Digital and Pure Premium Digital, let you match the paper to the job: a more affordable option for routine and service printing, a higher-grade one for portraits, weddings and school portraits. Glossy, Luster and Fine Matte finishes are available without swapping the device, only by choosing the right roll.

Original DNP media, why it matters
DS820 prints exclusively on original DNP media. The rolls include a built-in RFID chip that the printer recognises every time media is loaded. This is not a limitation, it is a guarantee of consistent print quality. Third-party paper and dye ribbons can produce a different colour cast, uneven coverage or a shorter printhead lifespan. In portrait and wedding photography, where the client judges the product visually, that kind of variability is unacceptable.
